Modalities
We use different interventions depending on the needs of each client. Here are some that we practice:
ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) helps you build a different relationship with difficult thoughts and feelings - rather than fighting them, you learn to make room for them while still moving toward what matters most to you.
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) explores the connection between how you think, feel, and behave, helping you identify unhelpful patterns and replace them with ones that serve you better.
Relational Therapy is grounded in the belief that the relationship between you and your therapist is itself a vehicle for healing - by experiencing a safe, honest connection in the room, you can start to shift the patterns that show up in your relationships outside of it.
Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative approach for when part of you wants to change and part of you isn't so sure - it helps you explore your own reasons for change at your own pace, without pressure or judgment.
